How to Book

Purchase your experience voucher directly through this website — whether it’s for you and your baby, or as a gift.
Your voucher is valid for 6 months, giving you flexibility to choose the perfect time for your shoot.
After checkout, you’ll receive your digital voucher and welcome pack by email, including everything you need to book your experience.

To get started, simply complete the booking request form in your welcome email.
We’ll then arrange a friendly discovery call to get to know you, understand what you’re hoping for, and find the right dates for your photoshoot and viewing.
At this stage, we take a fully refundable booking deposit, which can be returned as soon as you've viewed your photos, or put towards any additional purchases. This helps us keep our calendar running smoothly and ensures every session gets the time and attention it deserves.
After your call, you’ll receive your booking confirmation along with everything you need to feel prepared and confident ahead of your shoot.

On the day, you’ll be warmly welcomed into the studio by our team.
We keep everything calm, gentle, and completely baby-led, allowing plenty of time for feeding, settling, and cuddles whenever needed.
Your shoot lasts 75 minutes, giving us plenty of time to work at your baby’s pace and create a beautiful collection of natural, timeless images without ever feeling rushed.
There’s no need to worry about what to do, we’ll guide you throughout, handling your baby with care while creating a relaxed environment where genuine moments can unfold.

Around 1-2 weeks later, you’ll return to the studio for your private viewing experience.
Sit back with a complimentary drink and enjoy a cinematic presentation of your images.
Every experience includes one complimentary high-resolution digital image, and you’ll have the opportunity to purchase additional photos, prints, and wall art if you wish.
There’s no pressure - just clear options and guidance to help you choose the images you love.
For the best experience, viewings are designed for grown-ups only, allowing you to fully relax and enjoy your images without distraction.

Once you’ve made your selections, we get straight to work. Digital images are often ready the same day, while printed products and wall art are carefully produced and quality-checked before being delivered securely or prepared for collection.
Whether you take home your complimentary image or curate a full collection, everything is handled with care from start to finish — leaving you with something truly meaningful to look back on, and a beautiful experience from beginning to end.

We’re Alice and Chris, owners of Firefly Studios! As proud parents ourselves, we know that family life is rarely calm — it’s loud, silly, messy, and full of moments you never want to forget. The laughs, the wild energy, the lovely, sweet moments. This is the good stuff, exactly as it is.
These sessions are designed to feel relaxed, fun, and completely pressure-free. Our team are here to offer you plenty of guidance when you need it, and space for your children to be themselves. Whether that means dancing, laughing, or refusing to sit still for more than two seconds! The experience is easy and enjoyable, allowing you to stay present while those beautiful personal moments are captured just as they unfold.
FREQUENTLY asked questions
what's the best age for a newborn session?01
While there is no strict time-frame for your babies age, we recommend that to get that “newborn look”, we advise booking a photo shoot for approximately 5 to 14 days after your due date.
If your baby is older than this then we recommend you book one of our ‘family’ photo sessions.
Can we request specific poses?02
Of course, it’s ok to ask! We get requests all the time for specific ideas; some may be more possible than others depending on your newborn on the day and what we can feasibly do in the studio space.
Before the photoshoot, we will reach out to ask you if you have any specific requests. Our photographers have 15-20+ years of experience photographing newborns so at every step of the way, you’re in brilliant hands.
Who can i bring for the shoot?03
Unlike our family sessions, our newborn sessions are all about capturing your new baby. For this type of session, we recommend only the baby’s parent or parents. If you'd like to bring other family members, please book one of our family packages.
